LSU unveiled new splash protectors for its 2020 helmets on Friday morning.
These shields are designed to prevent you from spreading COVID-19 in the 2020 school football season. They cover the entire front of the hull.
The Twitter account of the LSU football apparatus sent a tweet that included a photo and read: “Adjust. Adjust. Splash shields are in a position to be used.”
Splash shields appear to be made through Schutt, who sells splash shields on his own for $14.99 each. Schutt says in his that the splash shields are “DevelopedArray … to block drops of sweat, cough and sneeze.” Indicates that splash protectors are made of a “transparent and flexible optical material”.
On July 17, the LSU football team account tweeted a photo of “preparing helmets for autumn,” but the helmets did not come with full welcome screens.
The Southeastern Conference announced Thursday that it will play a 10-game convention schedule in 2020. SEC games are scheduled to begin on September 26 and end with the SEC Football Championship on December 19.
LSU football has just finished a 2019–2020 season in which it had a 15-0 record and won the national school football playoff championship.
