LSU receiver Koy Moore issued a detail of an incident Saturday night in which he said police had shot him and “raped” him several times.

Moore, who posted Sunday on social media, said police officers who arrested him assumed he had a gun and drugs.

When he tried to record the interaction with the police, Moore said they had “taken the phone from him. “
“While some celebrate the election of a new president, the genuine challenge has not changed,” he wrote. “If I hadn’t told those incompetent officials that I was an LSU football player, it’s to know if I had been here to tell the story!Yesterday was not a victory for America, it was just a distraction. “
LSU coach Ed Orgeron aired on a Sunday night saying he was aware of Moore’s “serious problems. “
Although Orgeron does not comment on the research, he wrote, “We will have to listen, be informed and unite to combat social injustice and racism if we are to create a safer and fairer society for all. “
Baton Rouge Mayor Sharon Weston Broome aired a saying Monday: “My workplace has become aware of a scenario related to BRPD and an LSU student. Upon receiving the notification, I contacted Chief Paul; he confided to me that his branch investigating this matter and was in contact with the student.
“We take these accusations seriously and will wait for the final results of the investigation. We’ll get to the back of this scenario and keep the lines of communication with the community open. “
