It all happens at Camp Nou with the latest news from Barcelona that the striker, Luis Suarez, has reached an agreement with the Italian champion, Juventus.
This would see him go from betting alongside Lionel Messi, to aligning himself with Cristiano Ronaldo, joining an organization of players who have worked with the two most important players of this generation, and perhaps with one.
According to Guillem Balague informing BBC Sport, Suarez’s resolution will not influence what Lionel Messi intends to do.
It is despite the Corriere dello Sport cited through MARCA, noting that Messi’s father, Jorge, had asked the Uruguayan to remain in the club as a component of the package to remain his son.
That’s no longer on the table now, with Balague suggesting that Suarez would be satisfied with the one-year contract to pay as compensation, that the two years he earns.
This resolution potentially allows Ronald Koeman to have features at the forefront, for example by betting on Antoine Griezmann in his rightful place.
There are still obstacles to overcome before Suarez can become bianconeri, of course, but his agreement to facilitate an agreement suggests that the replacement won’t take long to arrive.
I need this from the transfer news.
With Messi staying one more year, it’s time for Griezmann to say, “Do I stay or pass?”And play hard!
