Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo insists that his appearance cannot be taken to Hoffenheim this weekend against Bundesliga wrestlers.
The Bavarians are comfortably in the most sensible of the standings with 17 points, while Hoffenheim is in the moment and fights for relegation.
However, Gustavo warned that Bayern may not take the match lightly, as their former club would be fighting for a win.
The Brazilian said on the club’s official website: “We are determined to win on Sunday; we need to win 3 numbers and we will also play our same usual game.
“We know that Hoffenheim is in a difficult scenario and, as a result, they will fight because they desperately want a victory.
“We have to be in a position for that and our taste for the game.
“I have to lift trophies here at Bayern, so I still have to win on Sunday.”
Sunday’s setting on the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena is scheduled to begin at 14:30 BST.
