Olympique Lyonnais was in a devastating way when they knocked down Monaco’s 4-1 to rise to sixth place in the Ligue 1 standings on Sunday.
Rudi García’s team, which has not played at any European festival this season, won thanks to goals from Memphis Depay, Houssem Aouar and a double from Karl Toko Ekambi, while Monaco only responded with a penalty from Wissam Ben Yedder.
The result put OL on thirteen issues in eight matches, five from Paris St Germain, who led the standings after a 4-0 win over Dijon on Saturday.
