Starting in 2023, EA’s official football simulations will be released as EA Sports FC. But even so, the official content of the FIFA World Cup, EA promises access to the same players, clubs, stadiums, and leagues that FIFA is known for.

Top teams from around the world and from leagues like the Premier League and MLS shared tweets that said “We’re at the club” with the hashtag #EASPORTSFC, signaling their goal to sign for EA’s famous franchise.
The two teams vying for the upcoming Champions League final, Real Madrid C. F. La La Liga and Liverpool FC of the Premier League, have tweeted from EA Sports FC, as have many other sensible teams.

EA claims that the loss of the FIFA license frees the company from some artistic restrictions. EA is now willing to allow more artistic content into its football simulation to identify potential advertising partnerships beyond the fundamental football experience.
FIFA, for its part, has announced plans to work with third-party developers on new games that will use the FIFA license, with plans underway for new non-simulation games this year.
