Malcolm Bohmeyer, a boy who is not Langwarrin, disappears on his bike

Nearly 19 years after Janine Vaughan’s disappearance in New South Wales, her family circle continues to seek answers. Now, Australian Hedley Thomas is missing 31-year-old on his podcast ”The Night Driver” to be released today.

The search for a 71-year-old Melbourne cyclist who disappeared on a motorcycle trip entered its third day.

A large-scale aerial and floor search was introduced to locate Langwarrin’s boy, Malcolm Bohmeyer, who has been noticed for more than 48 hours since he went for a motorcycle ride in the southeast of the city on Wednesday afternoon.

Dozens of state emergency service volunteers and uniformed police officers are conducting an online search of the Langwarrin Wildlife Reserve and its landscape in a desperate to locate Mr. Bohmeyer.

Their search is supported through the police on off-road motorcycles, the air wing and the fixed branch.

Inspector Paul Cripps stated that he feared that Mr. Bohmeyer had suffered a medical episode and disoriented himself and left the track and taken refuge in the mountain or in someone’s backyard.

His wife, Geraldine, told reporters that her husband gave drugs for Parkinson’s disease and also suffered from dementia.

“If he had fallen off the motorcycle on a road, we expected us to locate him; the fact that we couldn’t locate the motorcycle or him, we think he would probably have gone somewhere else,” Inspector Cripps said.

“Over time, we become more and more involved in how it works.”

Mr. Bohmeyer left his home on Cranbourne Rd for a motorcycle ride around 1.30pm on Wednesday and has been noticed ever since.

He was supposed to come home until mid-afternoon, but he never arrived and since then he has missed his old medication.

Inspector Cripps stated that Mr. Bohmeyer was driving his black mountain motorcycle near the Cranbourne Rd – Peninsula Link motorcycle trail and that Langwarrin Wildlife Reserve was one of his favorite places.

“We believe that because it’s one of his favorite places to ride, maybe he’s there,” he said.

“At this point, because he has a fitness problem, we just don’t know where he went.”

Inspector Cripps said the thick undergrowth also made it difficult to find.

“You have to look for it very, very well because you might miss something without problems,” he said.

Mr. Bohmeyer had recently felt ill.

Owners along Cranbourne Rd were also suggested to check their CCTV cameras to see if they could watch it on horseback on Wednesday afternoon.
