Man steals groceries at gunpoint in Ridgewood

The NYPD is for a guy who robbed a Ridgewood grocery store at gunpoint this week.

On Tuesday, October 20, around midnight, an unidentified guy entered Jimmy Deli and Grocery in 1683 Woodbine St. , according to the NYPD.

On his way to the counter, the guy pulled out a gun and asked a worker to hand over the registration cash, he said.

The worker obeyed and passed the guy $250 in money and six packs of cigarettes, according to police, and then fled in an unknown direction.

The thief is described as a burly guy in his 20s, according to police, who last noticed him dressed in a black hoodie, black pants and black and white sneakers.
