Denis Zakaria joined Borussia Monchengladbach in 2017.
The Swiss midfielder has left Young Boys for an estimated 10 million pounds.
Since then, Zakaria has firmly established heses he or she is a key gear at the base of Gladbach’s midfield.
The 24-year-old, who left for a knee injury, got 31 games with Munchengladbach last season, playing a central role in the German team for a place in the Champions League.
And the same injury also saw him miss the start of the existing campaign, Zakaria has slowly begun to regain his form in recent weeks.
The good shape of the 24-year-old has piqued the interest of some of Europe’s biggest clubs in recent months.

Today, Tuesday, two of the other Premier League heavyweights were credited with an interest in the defensive midfielder.
The ones in question, according to the Daily Star, are Manchester United and Chelsea (although the city’s interest is also highlighted).
It is noted that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the replacement for Nemanja Matic, Chelsea have reportedly been contemplating reinforcements at the base of their midfield for some time.
