Mason Greenwood has had a simply sensational 2019/20 campaign at Manchester United.
After making his senior debut vs PSG in the Champions League, the 18-year-old has gone from strength to strength this term.
Despite being just 18, the Englishman possesses all the qualities of a top-class centre-forward including, pace, power and a sensational weak-foot.
This has led to Greenwood netting 17 goals across all competitions this term for the Reds.
17 – No teenager has ever scored more goals in a single season in all competitions for @ManUtd than Mason Greenwood (17 – level with George Best in 1965-66, Brian Kidd in 1967-68 and Wayne Rooney in 2004-05). Esteem. pic.twitter.com/GiXnZsnZ5W

Unsurprisingly, Greenwood’s exploits have seen the England youth receive a fair bit of praise from many in the footballing world of late.
Alan Shearer, arguably the Premier League’s greatest ever striker, has tipped Greenwood to break his Premier League goalscoring record.
Man United legend Dwight Yorke has also recently claimed that Greenwood is better than his United teammate, Marcus Rashford.
Greenwood has even been compared with Arsenal and Man United legend, Robin van Persie.
Now, in a recent interview, the Man United youngster has responded to said comparisons with the Dutchman.
And whilst Greenwood admitted it was nice to hear such comparisons, he also stated he wants to forge his own path:
“Yeah, it’s nice to hear the comparisons with him [Robin van Persie].
“He’s obviously been at Manchester United and been a top forward but I want to make my own path and be my own player.
“But obviously to be talked about like him is nice to hear.”
