Manchester United are signed by Donny van de Beek from Ajax on a five-year contract.
The 23-year-old joins the Premier League team for around ’40 million pounds’ and is United’s first signing in the summer primaries.
Van de Beek rose through the ranks of Ajax and established himself as one of the most exciting midfielders in world football.
During the 2019/20 Eredivisie crusade with Ajax, Van de Beek scored 8 goals and contributed five assists in 23 appearances.
The perspective of the undercover Dutchman alongside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes is appealing to the role.
Speaking to United’s official website, Van de Beek said: “I can’t begin to think it’s an amazing opportunity to join a club with such an incredible history.
“I have to thank everyone at Ajax.I grew up there and I’ll have a special bond with the club.
“Now I’m in a position to take the next step in my career and carry it out at the highest point and there’s no more popular than Manchester United.”

It’s hard to see the flexible Dutchman being a notable addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s midfield.
