And that’s not to mention the records of Mason Greenwood (8), Memphis Depay (8) and Radamel Falcao (8).
But it’s loan flop Weghorst who has even worse numbers than Hojlund, contributing just five goals in his first 24 United games.
It’s just the moves and assists that are proving tricky for the new United striker.
Hojlund also has the lowest win of all the Red Devils forwards mentioned above.
Just 10 of his 24 games have resulted in victory, putting him alongside Greenwood and Martial with a win percentage of 42.
And as Hojlund owns the most minutes on the pitch among United’s front 11, his lack of contribution in the final third becomes painfully clearer with the aerial game.
Despite Pual Scholes’ ridicule, Jesse Lingard is said to have performed in Barcelona.
In the 2022/23 campaign, Lingard contributed two goals and two assists in 20 games for Forest.
