Man Utd went into arrears on the day of the deadline to close a deal with Pearol’s promising Facundo Pellistri winger.
The 18-year-old has spent the last two seasons in the Uruguayan Premier League with Peñarol. In the last two seasons he has played 37 games in all competitions and has scored two goals.
The firm was the Fifth day of the Red Devils with Edinson Cavan, Alex Telles and teenage central Willy Kambwala joining immediately, while Amad Traore will do so at Man Utd in January.
