Manchester United is in a position to pay attention to the donations of six first-team players as they seek to increase the budget for summer transfers.

The Red Devils will receive nominations from Alexis Sanchez, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs his team at Old Trafford with Jadon Sancho noted as his number one target.

The Norwegian has taken seven out of the exit gate since succeeding Jose Mourinho 18 months ago.

And it looks like his reorganization will continue in the coming months as he plans to move up United, Metro reports.

Solskjaer has been very expressive about the type of player he needs at the club as he seeks to put in place a quick attack style.

Two of the six players mentioned above, Sanchez and Smalling, have spent the year in Italy on loan.

It is understood that Rome needs Smalling’s transfer to the capital to be permanent.

The likes of Jones, Rojo and Dalot fell into the hierarchy, Solskjaer remained largely with a familiar return to four.

Although a new central defense for his wife, Harry Maguire, is on the United technician’s list of candidates.

But despite the plans, Executive Vice President Ed Woodward warned that they oppose expecting big deals this summer, as clubs feel the monetary effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

He said: “We believed that our business style gives us greater resistance than the maximum clubs and we are grateful for the continued help of our business partners to help us achieve this goal.

“However, no one has any illusions about the magnitude of the challenge everyone faces in football and this may not be” like the usual “for no club, adding to us, in the moving market this summer.”
