Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement to send Jadon Sancho to the German club on loan, according to reports.
Sancho is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.
He has not trained with the first team since September after claiming he is “a scapegoat for a long time”.
His comments came after Ten Hag said the 23-year-old had performed quite well in education in the run-up to the Premier League defeat to Arsenal on Sept. 3.
Manchester United were reportedly in a position to move Sancho to Saudi Arabia last summer, but the player was not open to a permanent move.
In an ideal deal for club and player, Sancho is the latest to return to Borussia Dortmund.

He wrote in X: “Jadon Sancho at Borussia Dortmund, let’s go!Agreement in force between Man United and BVB on a loan, NOT a purchase basis.
“I understand that Sancho will be able to do it later for medical reasons. The BVB will cover the salary portion plus loan expenses. €4 million package.
The news was also relayed through David Ornstein.
In an article for The Athletic, Ornstein claimed that Sancho would travel to Germany on Wednesday with all the documents that deserve to be signed “in the next 48 hours”.
Meanwhile, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg said that “it’s a closed deal. “
“We reported about the breakthrough in the Jadon Sancho talks yesterday,” Plettenberg said.
“It’s done and Sancho will sign for Borussia Dortmund. He will sign this loan contract after his medical and I hope it will arrive today or tomorrow. Maybe they’ll face Darmstadt this weekend.
“It is a six-month loan with no possibility of purchase. “
