Man Utd verified Alex Telles’ well-being and availability after reports revealed that the left-back had tested his back for Covid-19.

“Reports in Brazil have warned that Telles tested positive for Covid-19 for the time being and could miss his country’s match against Uruguay in Montevideo on Tuesday night.

“However, it is understood that Alex’s positive result does not necessarily mean that he has the virus again.
“United doctors at the Aon Training Complex are tracking the stage in Brazil and will make an evaluation when Telles returns to England later this week.
“We are still waiting for our recent signing of FC Porto to be needed to play Saturday in the Premier League against West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford. “
