Man Utd ‘working to name former Chelsea boss’ who signed Erling Haaland and Benjamin Sesko

Manchester United are bidding to add recruitment specialist Christopher Vivell to the club’s new hierarchy, the most recent appointment of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, according to reports. The Red Devils are said to be eyeing a move to Vivell in the short term, a very important first summer movement window for the INEOS regime.

The 37-year-old was named Chelsea’s new manager in December 2022 before leaving after just five months due to considerations over his role in the club’s structure.

Sky Germany reports that an agreement has been reached to appoint Vivell as United’s recruitment director, with his squad representing the final hurdle before official confirmation.
