Josh Wilson-Esbrand-5/10: Similar game to Luke Mbete. Celtic’s three goals in the first half came from City’s left, but Wilson-Esbrand had good possession.
Kalvin Phillips-4/10: A foul from the England international. At times he looked lost before being substituted at half-time.
Nico O’Reilly-6. 5/10: The youngster showed some flashes of quality on his first senior debut for City. He obviously he has the ability to succeed at the level.
James McAtee-6/10: A falsified demonstration of McAtee. No I am neither impressive nor deficient before his replacement.
Oscar Bobb-9/10: I scored one and set up the other two for City in a surprising performance. By City’s man of the match.
Jack Grealish-7/10: Grealish turns out to be in condition for a great 24/25 season. He seems to have compatibility and be willing to have a great season based on his functionality against Celtic.
Erling Haaland-7/10: He scored his goal and on any other day he could have scored a hat trick. He seems to have compatibility and be in a position to have a great season.
Ederson-6/10: Had very little to do and couldn’t do much to save Celtic’s fourth goal.
Jadel Katongo-6/10: Well defended when he came on in the second half.
Callum Doyle-7/10: Probably City’s centre-back that night.
Mahamadou Susoho-6/10: A great performance after coming on at half-time. He showed some wonderful flashes of what he is capable of doing.
Jacob Wright-6/10: Some great touches at times.
Máximo Perrone-7/10: He scored a goal and turns out to have matured as a player after spending last season on loan.
Ben Knight-6/10: A great little appearance after coming on in the second half.
Micah Hamilton-6/10: Do a lively demonstration after you arrive.
Joel Ndala- 7/10: He looked harmful as soon as he arrived. His play to set up Bobb for Haaland’s header was excellent.
