For more than an hour, Manchester City published one on their club’s website, revealing that Eric Garcia and a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
The news comes just days after he revealed that the city’s defender, Benjamin Mendy, had circumvented COVID regulations by attending a New Year’s Eve party.
Garcia and the member, who remained anonymous, are said to be in good physical condition, but will now practice an era of self-disseality in accordance with the Premier League and the British government’s quarantine protocol.
Manchester City have expressed a preference for wishing their teammates a quick recovery before returning to work and competition.
The Cityzens will travel to Stamford Bridge this afternoon, where they will face Chelsea at 4. 30pm. m. The game is expected to develop as planned, however, it remains to be known whether or not the announcement will be for the league as a whole.
