Manchester City have started talks with Benfica on a 50 million pound deal for defender Ruben Dias.
The Premier League’s aspiring name has passed the sublime 23-year-old after being frustrated by Sevilla’s 65 million-pound rating through Jules Kounde.
Although an agreement has been ruled out for the defense of Seville, City is discussing the fees with Benfica for Dias, which has long been on its short list.
