While the coronavirus pandemic has had a monetary effect on almost every football club in the world, Manchester City owners have not been affected so far.The City Football Group (CFG), owner of Cityzens, already owns ten-time shares in a list that includes New York City in Major League Soccer, Melbourne City in Australia’s A-League, Mumbai City in India and Girona-looking Second Division, among others.
However, the CFG joined their strength through the majority shareholder of Troyes’ The League 2.Sporting Esperance Troyes Dawn Champagne, or ESTAC as they are called, would have attracted the attention of Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis before this season. No motion has ever materialized, CFG executive leader and Manchester City CEO Ferran Soriano showed the resolution and admitted that the organization had been interested in French football for some time.
“We have been interested in French football for some time and admire ESTAC.Therefore, we are very pleased to have completed the acquisition of our tenth club and to have a permanent presence in France. This is a vital step for City Football Group,” which shows that our style continues to adapt and expand in a short period of time,” Soriano told Manchester City’s official website.
“At City Football Group, our purpose remains to play charming football, identify and expand core skill, and have a permanent presence in the world’s football centers. There is no doubt that France is one of the football countries in the world and we are proud to be a component of this community. We look forward to meeting our new home and club enthusiasts and running in combination to create a brilliant long-term race for ESTAC.We also thank Mr. Masoni for all his contributions to the club.”
