The Premier League is the world of Manchester City, Arsenal and everyone else.
Manchester City beat West Ham United 3-1 on Sunday to clinch their fourth consecutive Premier League title. This championship was still a foregone conclusion heading into the final day of the season, but City got the result they needed, thanks in large part to a first-half brace from Phil Foden.
Arsenal came within two numbers of the eventual champions on Sunday and needed a win over Everton and West Ham to draw or beat Man City and take the crown.
However, it was Pep Guardiola’s club who did the right thing, prompting numerous reactions on social media:

It didn’t take long for Manchester City to dispel any doubts about Sunday’s finish.
Foden scored a goal in the second minute of the match, which sent a message that was heard all the way to Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. However, he was far from over and scored in the 18th minute to open up a 2-0 lead.
Although West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus looked on the scoreboard just before half-time, the delay was inevitable.
Rodri gave the winning side some breathing room with a goal in the 59th minute, and City’s defence controlled the rest of the match.

There is much more drama from Arsenal as Everton scored first in the first half with a goal from Idrissa Gueye before Takehiro Tomiyasu scored the equaliser. Arsenal only took the lead in the 89th minute, when Kai Havertz scored the winning goal.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, West Ham did not provide them with what they needed to win the league.
