Manchester City is close to completing their first signing in the primary this summer, and Ferran Torres of Valencia is expected to register for the club.
Interest in the 20-year-old, considered the brightest Spaniard in his age group, has increased the season, with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also connected to the extreme.
Torres’ arrival would alleviate the blow of Leroy Sané’s defeat to Bayern Munich, preferring to be worn by the right wing than on the left.

Gundogan from the fake role of the nine
In just over a week, City will receive Real Madrid at Etihad Stadium for the second leg of their last 16 Champions League matches.
Guardiola’s team leads 2–1 in the first leg, which was played at Bernabéu in February.
City is in a smart position to progress against the Champions of La Liga, but has to do so without Sergio Aguero, who is in doubt for the game due to injury.
That may mean that Guardiola, as he did in Madrid, is a fake nine opposite los Blancos. And it’s a role the city chief has hinted that Gundogan could just play.
“If necessary, I would do as productive as possible,” he told the City’s website. “I still see some players in front of me for this position. If I have to play there, I will and will do my best to help the team in the most productive way possible, as I do.
“I don’t care. There are positions I prefer to play in, but my purpose is to do as productive as possible to help the team as much as possible. If it’s a new fake, I’ll try to do it.
Alaba could be loose in 2021: report
In other words, Guardiola is a wonderful admirer of David Alaba, the bayern Munich defender who has been linked to a move to Etihad Stadium.
“David Alaba is our God,” the Catalan coach said as he led the German giants. Given this sentiment, it is no surprise that he has been designated as a possible recruit to the city.
MEN Sport understands that it is a priority target this summer. But things can be very different in 12 months.
According to German media outlet Bild, Alaba and Bayern Munich are in a dead end. The existing Austrian agreement expires next summer and if new situations are agreed, it may be gone next July.
And such a scenario would alert the City, like a lot of European giants, adding to Paris Saint-Germain.
