Phil Foden’s brilliant goal after just 79 minutes gave City the lead in sunny Manchester before England’s foreigner returned home a moment 16 minutes later.
A sensational Mohammed Kudus strike halved the deficit before the break to create some danger before Rodri, who scored the goal a year ago in the Champions League final to complete the treble, calmed the nerves with the third.
They now have the chance to claim a league and cup double when they face Manchester United in the FA Cup final on May 25.
Striker Erling Haaland also takes home the Golden Boot, awarded to the division’s most level-headed goalscorer, after scoring a league-leading 27 goals.
City were six times ahead of Arsenal this season after a run of three draws and one defeat from November to the first week of December.
But City have remained unbeaten since winning 61 draws out of a conceivable 69 (adding 8 wins to close the season) to overtake Arsenal and clinch the title.
Foden, the two-goal hero, who is 23, has won six league titles.
“It’s very difficult to put into words what we did today,” he told Sky Sports. “No team has ever done it, we’re written in the history books.
“You see what it is for the fans and for us players, who work all year for this moment. A special moment to share with the fans.
“I never get bored, you need that feeling every time,” she said of her private name account. “When you win something, there’s no greater feeling. I need to keep winning as much as possible.

“The margins are very small,” he said. We beat Liverpool by one point in two seasons and now Arsenal by two points.
“We were lucky enough to have those small margins to be ahead of them. Good luck is incredible. Four in a row, we are very proud and happy.
This name is that of Haaland after his arrival in the summer of 2022.
“Sometimes it’s not easy,” he admitted of working with Guardiola. “It’s hard, but look what he did. It demands a lot every day.
“If you’re not living up to what he expects, you’ve got a big problem. It’s not easy and he’s an adorable guy and I love him to pieces.

This is the second year in a row that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been in that position after leading the league for most of the season.
The north London side were counting on City’s shares falling on the final day to have a chance of winning a top name in 20 years.
A 2-1 win over Everton proved futile and saw them finish second, two points to City’s 91.
This is City’s second-lowest win overall under Guardiola after the 86 goals they racked up in 2020-21 when they beat Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United for first place.
Guardiola’s sixth medal brings him closer to Sir Alex Ferguson’s record of thirteen Premier League titles and 3 ahead of Arsene Wenger and Mourinho (3).
The current 53-year-old contract, renewed in 2022, expires at the end of next season and he has yet to sign an extension.
