Ruben Amorim has admitted Manchester United are in a relegation zone after their 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United and admitted they are “focused on survival”.

“I think people are tired of excuses in this club and I think sometimes I talk about relegation because of that.

“With the lack of education and the lack of confidence after so many losses and some difficult moments, you suffer from goals at the beginning of the games and then it’s really complicated every game. “
