Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has again warned that Manchester United will not enter next season with David de Gea, Sergio Romero and Dean Henderson in their first team.
De Gea, 29, signed a new four-year contract in September, but his form has been problematic for more than a year and Henderson has been on loan at Sheffield United in his first season in the Premier League.
Henderson, 23, signed a new three-year contract with United in July and is attracting Chelsea’s interest amid talks on a new contract. Romero, 33, is out of contract next year, but United has a chance to do so.
Romero moved to stellar Group, which also represents Henderson earlier this year, and Henderson would only be able to return to United if he is promoted to first-choice goalkeeper.
Regular play time is even more for De Gea and Henderson next season before the European Championship, with Henderson looking to take Jordan Pickford out of the English side and De Gea competing with Kepa Arrizabalaga for the Spanish spot.
