Romero has started most of United’s Europa League matches this season and for the purpose of the quarter-finals, semi-final and final of the successful 2016-17 campaign, but Solskjaer has refused to check whether he will start the quarter-finals. Monday night. copenhagen in Cologne.

“That’s an obvious question. I think I must be the most privileged manager in the world with the goalkeeping department, with Sergio, David and we’ve got Dean Henderson coming back; three top, top keepers.

“This season has shown how important Sergio has been for us and, for me, David always performing. We’ll see what we do rest of the season and going forward. Difficult, yeah. But it’s a nice problem to have.

“As you say, the putt festival is important, we’re looking to have a put festival. We’ve got Dean, Sergio, David in the ranks. Lee [Grant], the professional he is, supports them.”

“It’s going to be hard to stay 3 of them at the club, so let’s see what the resolution is.”
