Nobby Stiles his time at Manchester United
Nobby Stiles, a member of the English national team that won the 1966 World Cup, died at the age of a long illness.
Stiles is also part of the Manchester United team that has become the first English club to win the European Cup two years later, when he beat Benfica in the final at Wembley.

He returned to United as coach of the Alex Ferguson youth team in 1989 for a four-year term.
Stiles suffered a number of physical problems later in life, which added a diagnosis of dementia.
In 2010, after a mini stroke, he sold his medals to leave anything for his family.
United bought them for 200,000 euros and the medals are now kept in the club museum.
Stiles is the brother-in-law of Irish football legend John Giles after marrying Giles’ sister Kay in June 1963.
