Manchester United banished the wanted Andreas Pereira in Benfica’s play with a 24-year-old who is not part of Solskjaer’s plans next season

The Brazilian, normal in the midfield of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the first part of the 2019-2020 campaign, played a limited role at the end of the season.

The appearance of Fred and Scott McTominay, along with the renaissance of Nemanja Matic and the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January, has made Pereira’s playing time limited.

And Paul Pogba’s return after an injury after the blockade has made things even more complicated.

By the time ESPN says he may be on his way to Benfica, he needs his team with the 24-year-old.

Solskjaer still loves Pereira and would like to stay in Old Trafford.

But I probably wouldn’t give you any certainy about your playing time.

Valencia’s former lending club is also following Pereira’s situation, but given his terrible monetary situation, he is unlikely to act.

Pereira still has 3 years left of his contract signed last summer, however it is understood that it is normal in first-team football.

He made 40 appearances for the Red Devils in the 2019–20 campaign, but a Premier League game on 1 February.

Overall, the academy graduate played time for United, scoring four goals.

The Red Devils also receive donations for Phil Jones, including returning loan stars Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and assistant goalkeeper Joel Pereira.

Barcelona would be interested in Diogo Dalot, Solskjaer prefers to stay with the Portuguese side in competition.

Another marginal player the Norwegian would like to stay for is Jesse Lingard, who is reluctant to give England assurances about his playing time.

As for arrivals at Old Trafford, Jadon Sancho remains his first target, despite having missed the 10 August deadline in Dortmund, his chances have been undermined by the German club’s hierarchy.

United have also been associated with Jack Grealish, while David Brooks of Bournemouth has an alternative.
