Manchester United, the English giant, congratulated East Bengal on its centenary and also for everything that has secured its place in the 2020–21 Indian Super League (ISL) season.
The Red Devils on Monday, in a letter to East Bengal Secretary General Kalyan Majumder, expressed their vows to the giants of kolkata.
The letter read: “We would like to congratulate the East Bengal Club and the millions of East Bengal enthusiasts on the centennial celebrations. We are aware of the history of your club and its colorful journey since August 1, 1920. “
“We will also have to thank you for the glorious delight we had on our recent stopover at the site of your club in Kolkata, India.
“We are also pleased to know that every effort will be made to get East Bengal involved in this season’s Indian Super League and we wish you the most productive for your new trip. All the most productive for the club’s brilliant long term. “
