Manchester United would have lost the touchdown of prodigy Jude Bellingham after failing to adjust to Borussia Dortmund’s salary of 56,000 euros consistent with the week.
The 17-year-old granted a transfer to Birmingham City of the Bundesliga for 25 million pounds at the end of July, following widespread attention from Europe’s biggest clubs, adding the Red Devils.
United could have secured the talented midfielder if they had matched Dortmund’s salary after turning down the opportunity to point him out in January when they resorted to a touchdown from Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes.
