And when their players arrived at Manchester airport, he suggested they be more intense in their third-round clash of the Carabao Cup on Kenilworth Road.
During the weekend defeat, Old Trafford’s boss told Man Utd’s website: “I don’t think it’s a smartwatch.
“I didn’t like it at the time and, as I said, we didn’t get out of the traps fast enough and they did.
“They looked sharper than us, than we did and deserved the stitches.
“We didn’t do enough to win the right and we have to win the right in a Premier League match. “
Solskjaer went on to say that he devises that Luton would provide a check, but will make the necessary adjustments for all his equipment to fit.
The boss added: “[Luton] very well and also finished very well last season.
“They, of course, beat Norwich and Reading to reach the cup and also beat Barnsley and Derby in the league.
“It’s a team with confidence and they play Man Utd, of course it will be a game for them.
“But it’s a wonderful game for our players, the ones who have a chance, because they have to prove that they are in a position to be summoned.
“This is a team that is direct with maximum intensity, aggression and, of course, forged kick stops.
“You worry when you play with power plants that are taller than me anyway. “
Solskjaer continued: “We will make some adjustments to the Array . . . for some, it’s pre-season and some have only been here a week, for other reasons.
“Some want game time, they want it, and we can see that we lack sharpness.
“We’ll turn around and give them a few minutes. Some will do an education this week to prepare for Brighton. “
