Manchester United lost a game in the 2020/21 WSL season
Manchester United will meet rivals Manchester City this afternoon when the women’s weekend returns.
Casey Stoney’s team is lately at the top of the Women’s Super League standings after six games and now has the chance to build its eight-point hole with City.
City, recently in fifth place, will begin the crash after an impressive 8-1 win over Bristol City in the WSL.
They sealed the FA Cup name opposite Everton this month at Wembley.
The last time the groups faced each other in January, when United lost 3–2 to City in the fourth CIRCULAR of the FA Cup.

Team news
United will not be able to count on its star lead Alessia Russo due to a hamr tendon injury. However, German foreigner Ivana Fuso could make her WSL debut after arriving from FC Basel this summer.
Gareth Taylor’s team will remain Aoife Mannion, Megan Campbell and Lauren Hemp after the trio suffered long-term injuries.
Before the crash, Taylor told the City website, “It’s great. We look forward.
“The two matches (this and the Continental Cup the following Thursday) are going to be absent. We will do our homework and prepare. “
United will win all 3 issues this weekend before heading to the Continental Cup against City on November 19.
