Manchester United will do everything imaginable for Rasmus Hojlund if they miss a big shot for Harry Kane

Marcus Rashford scored 30 goals in the crusade and the only player to achieve double-digit goals in the Premier League. The most productive moment Bruno Fernandes with thirteen in all competitions.

Rumours recommend that Ten Hag will prefer to get Tottenham’s talisman Harry Kane or Serie A champion Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

But because of the stakes and difficulties related to selling either club, the Reds maintain an up-to-date list of alternatives.

According to Football Insider, Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund is seen as the best option if moves fail for Kane or Osimhen.

“Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund tops Man United’s list of wanted strikers ahead of the summer window,” the resources told Football Insider.

“A well-placed source told this that the 20-year-old is seen as an option for big contracts for Tottenham’s Harry Kane or Napoli’s hitman Victor Osimhen,” the report added.

The 20-year-old had a first crusade in Italy and also drew attention for his impressive performances with his national team.

The Dane has scored goals and 4 assists in 33 games in all competitions, adding 19 since the start.

Denmark scored five times in two Euro 2024 qualifiers against Finland and Kazakhstan, further improving their benchmarks.

The report also mentions that United’s scouts have closely followed his performances throughout the season and have been impressed.

Hojlund is young and hungry and reportedly spoke of United as his dream club.

The FC Copenhagen academy graduate arrived in Bergamo for just £15 million in 2022 and is said to earn a salary of just £11,000 consistent with the week in his contract with Atalanta, which runs until June 2027.

He is valued at 35 million euros according to Transfermarkt, but Atalanta will aim to earn almost double given the calibre of clubs interested in their star striker.
