Manchester United’s full 2024/25 Premier League schedule

Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 season have been released and the Red Devils will kick off at Old Trafford against Fulham.

On the last day of the season, Erik ten Hag’s team will host Aston Villa at home.

What promised to be a summer of turmoil from INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe now looks unlikely after United’s hierarchy backed stressed manager Erik ten Hag following his FA Cup win over City at the end of last season.

The club had spoken to former Bayern Munich and Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel about the position, but will now look to change the terms of a new contract for the Dutchman as he prepares for his third full season at Old Trafford.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEO team will have a first indication that they were right to keep Ten Hag in the third game of the season when United host Arne Slot’s Liverpool.

Ten Hag’s will play the opponent at Anfield on January 4, three weeks before the first Manchester derby of the season on December 14.

The season will begin on Friday, August 16, while the last day is set for May 25 as the ten matches will start simultaneously, as is tradition.

One of the major updates from last season is the removal of mid-season breaks. This was done in consultation with clubs that liked a longer summer break.
