Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was released on the Greek island of Syros on Saturday after alleging he was not blamed for the charges of violence against officials, disobedience, physical harm, insults and attempted corruption by an official.
According to the Guardian’s Greek newspaper Proto Thema (h/t Jamie Jackson and Helena Smith), Maguire’s trial was postponed until Tuesday. He allowed him to go loose and return to the UK if he wished.
Maguire and two friends were allegedly involved in an internal and outdoor fight at a bar on nearby Mykonos Island on Thursday.
