The news in England on Monday, of course, involved two of the country’s emerging stars.
Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden won their first senior call-up for the final three Lions games.
England will face Iceland on Saturday with Foden at the beginning and Greenwood making an appearance at the bank.
The draw saw England come out with a 1-0 win after 90 minutes of bored.
It would be times after the match against Iceland that would make a lot of noise.
He first reported Monday morning that Foden and Greenwood had taken two women to the team’s hotel, movements that, of course, violated Covid-19 protocols.

Unsurprisingly, it was shown at a time after Greenwood and Foden were not with the rest of England’s squad to face Denmark on Tuesday:

After getting rid of his overseas obligations, Foden moved to his Twitter account on Monday night.
Now, on Tuesday, Greenwood, Manchester United, issued his own apology, which he can read full below:
“Having now had the opportunity to reflect on what happened, I can only with everyone because of the shame I caused.
“It is irresponsible of me to break the COVID-19 protocols that are in a position to protect players, staff and the public.
“In particular, I would like to apologize to Gareth Southgate for letting him down, even though he had shown me wonderful confidence.
“Playing for England has been one of the proudest moments of my life and I myself are to blame for this great mistake. “
“I promise my family, fans, Manchester United and England that this is a lesson I will learn. “
