Rob Dawson explains why Man United forced Jadon Sancho away from the first team after his feud with Erik ten Hag (2:12).
Jadon Sancho has been asked to apologise to Erik ten Hag through his Manchester United teammates, he told ESPN.
Sancho was excluded from first-team education following his public rift with Ten Hag after being excluded from the squad for United’s match against Arsenal in early September. So far, the 23-year-old has refused to apologise and there is no deadline for his return to the team.

The standoff lasted more than three weeks and Sancho’s teammates, led by Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire, stepped in to analyse the situation.
Sancho, according to a source, was asked through his England teammates to apologise to Ten Hag in order to save his career at Old Trafford.
The England striker has not been present for the games against Brighton, Bayern Munich and Burnley while he remains exiled from training.
It also banned entry to all first-team spaces, adding the changing rooms and dining room. Lately Sancho trains only with the club’s coaches on the youth pitches and is only allowed minimal interaction with his higher-level teammates.
The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) presented its proposal to act as an intermediary between Sancho and Ten Hag and find a way to mend their relationship.
Sancho will leave the club in the January transfer window but remains under contract until at least 2026. He joined United from Borussia Dortmund on a £73m contract in 2021.
Meanwhile, Mason Mount and Maguire have trained with the team ahead of the Carabao Cup third round against Crystal Palace on Tuesday. Mount has missed the last five games through injury, while Maguire has been absent on trips to Bayern and Burnley.
Sofyan Amrabat could make his full debut against Palace after being substituted late in the 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
