Leopoldo Luque, a non-public physician at Diego Maradona, is investigated in Argentina for the death of football legend.
He appointed through the Prosecutor’s Office of San Isidro, Buenos Aires, and the sentence ordered the break-in of the doctor’s house and clinic, with 30 policemen at each site.
There is suspicion of medical negligence in the last days of Maradona’s life and therefore culpable homicide.
He claimed maradona did not have medical permission to leave the clinic where he underwent subdural hematoma surgery before November, but left on November 11 to return home to Tigre, Buenos Aires.
The psychiatrist and some other user who in the space of Maradona’s death can also be investigated.
This judicial investigation may continue for some time as prosecutors seek to find out precisely what happened in the final hours of Maradona’s life.
They will analyze if he had permission to be at home, why there is no specialist doctor who provides it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, why there is no ambulance at home, if he had the appropriate medication, if medical protocols were followed general, why there is no defibrillator in the space and how the last hours were managed.
