Fulham manager Marco Silva expects Wolves to be brimming with confidence in Monday night’s Premier League between the two sides.
The Portuguese also revealed that Adama Traoré suffered a setback on his return with a hamstring injury, while Issa Diop and Rodrigo Muniz were also absent.
Wolves scored twice in stoppage time to beat Tottenham 2-1 at Molineux before half-time and also have Manchester City among their four strands in the league this season.
Fulham will be looking to bounce back from successive league defeats and Silva said on the club’s official website: “Wolves are a team to play against, they showed that.
“They got excited about some of the games they won and how they did it.
“At the end of the game they were losing to Tottenham and the way they won the game, of course, was a big step forward for them.
“It gives them more confidence, as always, but we have to take care of ourselves. “
“A lot of respect for them and for their game. We’re aware of that and also because of the players they have, of course.
“But it’s up to us to be explicit. The home team will be very vital for us to win the game. “
Fulham, 15th in the standings, three clear of Wolves and seven clear of the relegation zone, has not won in four league games and has lost the last two against Manchester United and Aston Villa.
Silva added: “We need to react because it’s the first time we’ve suffered back-to-back defeats and it’s always vital to play as temporarily as possible to show a reaction and build from there. “
