Therefore, the Red Devils will have to pay part of his salary to facilitate a move to Italy.
This means that the club would still pay him £162,500 according to the week while playing AC Milan.
Rashford has scored 4 goals and helped one more in his 14 Premier League appearances this season.
His agent and brother Dwaine flew to Italy to meet with AC Milan recruiting and had exploratory interviews.
Rashford are still expected to explore his other characteristics with several clubs below his services.

Marcus Rashford is at a crossroads.
But now the England star has to make the biggest selection he’s ever faced — does he care about cash or his career?
Rashford’s surprise admission that he is “ready for a new challenge” after some two decades, Manchester United’s umbrella has replaced the dynamic around his future.
The fact that Rashford had no compatibility with Ruben Amorim’s plan, who has now responded to Rashford’s comments, is not exactly a surprise.
The Portuguese coach prefers a 3-4-3 formation, but it turns out that he has decided on Rasmus Hojlund as his starting centre-forward and needs two “narrow” strikers, with the width coming from the wings.
Rashford has looked to play in midfield, but is occasionally in his most productive exploitation spaces, and that skill set doesn’t necessarily suit the way Amorim needs to play.

Lucrative, yes. Definitely another environment, and that would possibly be precisely what Rashford needs and needs. But football? Not in a million years.
What Rashford needs, above all, is to be playing for trophies and showing his talents.
