For the second year in a row just before Christmas, hundreds of Barça fans were able to meet some of the women’s first team players in person, this time it was Mariona Caldentey, Keira Walsh and Salma Paralluelo. The Meet&Greet took place this evening at the Passeig de Gràcia Barça Store, with the fans providing an amazing welcome and clearly enjoying seeing their idols both inside and outside the store.
The 3 players were warmly welcomed by everyone who came to the shop on Passeig de Gràcia, where they signed autographs, chatted and took pictures with the fans.
On site, Mariona, Paralluelo and Walsh also took part in a photo shoot dressed in exclusive pieces from FC Barcelona’s Memorabilia custom jewellery collection.
This set of unique pieces contains diamonds made from the pitch at the former Spotify Camp Nou and they are exclusively on sale at the Barça Stores and via the website, www.store.fcbarcelona.com .
The occasion took place two days before the women’s team played its final match of 2023 at the Estadi Johan Cruyff against Rosengard Women on matchday four of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Thursday 21 December at 21:00 CET. It is already sold out and fans will be able to enjoy a special Christmas show for the whole family with activities adapted to the time of year.
The souvenirs of the “Ple d’Història”. The Ple de Futur diamond and jewellery collection is part of an FC Barcelona project created a few months ago that aims at a circular economy initiative, thanks to which the seats, the pitch and other areas of the former Spotify Camp Nou will be able to receive a life-life moment. This also means that spoons can keep the reminiscence of the stadium new and alive through other elements made from the stadium itself.
For the first time in blaugrana history, a collection of ethically sourced and sustainable diamonds can be acquired, created from carbon in the pitch that hosted the final game played last season against RCD Mallorca on 28 May 2023.
These diamonds have been made from surface-sourced carbon, the latest generation and renewable energy to create completely sustainable pieces with no environmental impact. Experts craft each diamond in the rough into unique and perfect pieces. They all come with a certificate of authenticity indicating the origin of the carbon, the characteristics of the diamond, and the certification of the series.
Products that can be purchased include 1- and 0. 5-carat diamonds, 0. 10-carat badges as well as bracelets and necklaces containing diamonds created at the Spotify Camp Nou field.
