Mount and Rice have known each other since they fit in the schoolgirls in Chelsea, the latter leaving the Blues to a West Ham player, where he has lately played football.
The duo reunited with an English shirt, in the midfield of the Three Lions in their 4-0 win over Iceland tonight. After the match, they conducted a comforting interview with Sky Sports.

According to Eurosport, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard would love to point to Rice. Judging by the way he played mount tonight for England and his apparent intelligent relationship, it’s easy to see why.
Mount is the new “Mr Chelsea” at Stamford Bridge. Es blue from start to finish, and there are worse tactics for Rice to transfer to SW6 than to meet his old friend.
The more those two players play together and the more prominent their off-court dates become, the more you start to think that Rice’s eventual return to Chelsea would possibly have been taken for granted.
