Barcelona midfielder Matheus Fernandes may be on the line of a wonderful return to Ronald Koeman’s first team plans in the coming weeks.
The Brazilian under-20 foreigner signed for Barcelona with a contract of 7 million euros with Palmeiras in January, and La Blaugrana chose to send it on loan for six months to Real Valladolid.
The 22-year-old has returned to Catalan giants for pre-season education this summer, but a persistent ham ham tendon injury has kept him out in the 2020/21 season.
He returned to soft education last week and the club has now officially demonstrated his return to full fitness.
Marca’s reports state that Koeman would possibly be willing to reverse his intentions on Fernandes after he indicated that he would be willing to sell it before the move window closes this month.
However, with a series of games well filled before the foreign stop in November, he may be drafted for his club debut in November.
