After two quiet months on the recruiting route, Memphis took the step on Thursday.
Three-star supporter Dedrick Smith got engaged to the Tigers Twitter. The Jacksonville, Florida venue is the Tigers’ 2021 class commitment.
Smith, 6 feet 1 inch and 200 pounds, is also the Tigers’ fifth supporter in the 2021 class and will be a key target for the Tigers, who have several veterans on this year’s team, adding J. J. Russell, Tim Hart and Thomas Pickens.
According to MaxPreps, Smith made 43 tackles, three pass detours and four loose ball recoveries recovered last season at Robert E High School. Lee. Il also shared time on the defensive line as a supporter.
