Memphis’ best regular-season game this season is the special Saturday.
For the sixth time in seven games, the Tigers (6-3, 4-3) will start at 11 a. m. when they receive Houston at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. The game will also be on ESPN, the fifth time Memphis is on the network’s online subscription service.
Saturday will also be Houston’s first game since November 14 when the Cougars (3-3, 3-2) had two games postponed or canceled from COVID-19.
Memphis and Houston were scheduled to play on September 18 at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, but the game was postponed due to the Tigers’ COVID-19 outbreak.
The Tigers have a four-game winning streak against Houston and a win on Saturday will give Memphis a straight season without losses.
