Memphis football coach Ryan Silverfield said he did not tell his team about their successes beyond November. It is understood that in more than 4 seasons, this is when the Tigers are moving to another march.
“They know a popular we have to face not only for the Memphis football program, but also for our team and what we expect from ourselves,” Silverfield said this week.
Memphis has won thirteen consecutive games in November since 2016 and will want that pride to receive South Florida on Saturday (11 a. m. , ESPN). The USF is starting a five-game losing streak and s stopped last week.
It’s the right solution for Memphis (3-2, 2-2 AAC) to triumph over their loss to Cincinnati last week. Here are five things you need to know before the game.
The Tigers started slowly in each and every game and have not led at half-time since the first game against Arkansas State. The USF (1-5, 0-4) has lost 8 consecutive games in the AAFC.
As an 18-point favorite, Memphis will have to come out fast and effective from his first possession. A strong first quarter will be the most productive reaction after the Tigers’ poor appearance against Cincinnati
If Memphis’ defense needs to do the right thing, start by creating conclusions. The USF ranks 95th in the country with thirteen ball losses, adding seven missed getaways in its last 3 games.
Despite all the Tigers’ fights, they forced at least one takeaway in each game. They have a wonderful chance of keeping that series alive in front of a Bulls team that has the second worst offense in the AAFC.
The USF averages only 18 problems and 184. 2 yards per pass, so of course that prompted a revolving door for the quarterback. In the Bulls’ last game against Tulsa, Jordan McCloud, Cade Fortin and Noah Johnson all saw representatives. Silverfield said Memphis was getting ready for all three of us.
McCloud is mobile, but Memphis faced him last season and struggled to turn on the offensive. On Saturday it’s a game, the Tigers’ pass race makes life depressing for anyone who plays. Games?
Defensive back TJ Carter participated in this week and will be a game time resolution through Silverfield.
Paging Rodrigues Clark, Kylan Watkins and the Tigers offensive line. Do you need Memphis to have only five yards on the court in front of Cincinnati? This is your chance.
USF has the third worst floor defense in the AAFC and ceded 227 yards to Tulsa two weeks ago. That’s exactly what Memphis wants and that’s where they want to target the Bulls’ defense. USF ranks 18th nationally and leads the AAFC in yards consistent with game-consistent passing.
Memphis won 24 of its last 25 home games and a victory on Saturday set a program record with the Tigers’ 13th direct home win. The Tigers have not lost to the Liberty Bowl since losing to UCF in 2018.
A win will be Brady White’s 24th in Memphis and set a program record. White’s tied with Lloyd Patterson.
