Olympique Lyonnais owner John Textor is running for the appointment of a new coach for his clubs.
Until proven otherwise, Olympique Lyonnais are not looking for a new coach in the transfer market. Brought in as interim coach in place of Fabio Grosso, Pierre Sage will at least continue his adventure at the Rhône club until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
The owner and president of Les Gones, John Textor, has at the moment another fear than that of finding a new technician for Alexandre Lacazette’s partners. The American businessman works in a trainers gym near Botafogo. And according to data leaked by As, the billionaire has a plan in mind for the Brazilian club, which also belongs to the Eagle Football galaxy.
As part of the succession of Tiago Nunes, the fifth coach fired this season from the Rio de Janeiro team after Luis Castro, Claudio Cacapa, Bruno Lage and Lucio Falvio, John Textor to entrust the team’s dreams to a former FC Barcelona coach.

In search of a European coach, the Olympique Lyonnais coach is looking at Quique Setien, who has been out of contract since leaving Villarreal last September.
