October 2 (UPI) – Football rivals Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will face off since 2018 after Barcelona and Juventus landed in Group G in the 2020-2021 Champions League draw.
Barcelona and Juventus focus an organization with Ukrainian force Dynamo Kyiv and Hungarian Ferencvaros.
Messi and Ronaldo last shared the football field on May 6, 2018, when Barcelona and Real Madrid tied 2-2 at La Liga. Ronaldo left Madrid to sign for Juventus next season. Messi’s groups have a 16-10-9 record in 35 matches opposed to Ronaldo’s groups.
Spanish League champions Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Internazionale and Monchengladbach are in Group B. Portuguese League champions Porto lead Group C with Manchester City, Olympiacos and Marseille.
Liverpool, the English Premier League champion, is the most sensitive group D, which also includes Ajax, Atalanta and Midtjylland.
The level of organization will begin with the matches of 20 and 21 October, the circular moment of the organization level matches will take place on 27 and 28 October, two more matches will be played at the organization level in November and two more matches in December before the circular of 16 on 14 December in Nyon Switzerland.
