With less than a week to go until the release of EA Sports College Football 25, the main points about Ultimate Team have been revealed.
EA Sports has announced that recent finals like Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and Georgia tight end Brock Bowers will be available to be added to its Ultimate Team roster at launch.

Players who pre-order the standalone Deluxe Edition or MVP Pack that includes the College Football 25 and Madden NFL 25 Deluxe Editions will have one of the players announced Tuesday as a component of their Ultimate Team.
According to EA’s official website, Ultimate Team players will be able to build their dream school football team with stars from the past and present. Players can compete against other players or against the AI.
Since EA Sports has a partnership with the NFL Players Association, there will also be active NFL stars in the game.
Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, Josh Allen, Ceedee Lamb, Stefon Diggs, and Joe Burrow are among the active NFL players indexed as available in Ultimate Team mode.
Starting Ultimate Team mode will not position those players on your team. Players will inherit a rookie team with a “handful” of familiar names, but you can add more through a challenge mode that requires you to express all of your responsibilities on the field.
The scenarios range from something common, such as making a touch pass, to more complicated responsibilities, such as pulling off a comeback against a rival school.
College Football 25 will feature over a hundred challenging situations to complete at launch, with new challenging situations being added as the season progresses.
While players can combine the roster as they see fit, EA has incorporated a chemistry feature to ensure that all players in the box are matched in combination. For example, if you’re a team that goes first, building an offensive line that’s more productive and suitable for blocking runs would arguably not help, even if the run-blocking unit is larger overall.
EA Sports College Football 25 will launch on July 15 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
