Michael Vick has combined a normal NFL career, but even he will not be in the Hall of Fame.
“Actually, I feel like I’m not doing enough,” Vick told The Boardroom: Out of Office podcast (55:43). “I feel like I’ve made my component for the story, for the game and the task revolution, and that’s enough. “
Selected as No. 1 in the 2001 draft, Vick was an exclusive player from the start with his ability to influence a game with his arms and legs. In his career he totaled 22,464 air yards and 6,109 yards on the court and was guilty of 169 general touchdowns.
His 1,039 yards on the court in 2006 set the record for maximum quarterback until he beat Lamar Jackson last season.
Despite his good fortune on the field, Vick is not among 130 nominees for the 2021 Hall of Fame class.
